Dr. David LLC is a US-based company founded by a compliance specialist renowned for its CIPP/US certification, CIPM, and AI Governance training courses. Its teaching approach relies primarily on comprehensive video courses, already published on Udemy, and designed for professionals worldwide.
Objectives
The project aims to create a truly professional, high-performance online training platform designed for an international audience. The client wants to offer its certified video courses for individual sale, with a modern, responsive, and intuitive interface, similar to that of industry leaders like Udemy. The user experience is at the heart of the project, with seamless navigation, simplified access to content, a personal space for each student, as well as the integration of advanced educational features such as quizzes, downloadable certificates, comments, and a badge system. It is also essential to guarantee a high level of security for video hosting and to allow the client to fully manage the content independently via the WordPress back office.
Solution
To meet Dr. David’s expectations, Dawa Web Agency designed a custom solution based on the WordPress ecosystem and LearnDash. The website, developed using the Divi theme, offers a flexible, fast, and easily manageable structure. LearnDash was fully configured to manage courses, lessons, quizzes, and certificates, while WooCommerce enabled the integration of secure payments via PayPal and Stripe, with a course-based sales logic. The interface was carefully designed to offer ergonomics similar to those of major e-learning platforms, with streamlined navigation and clear content hierarchy. Video hosting was outsourced to Vimeo Pro, with advanced privacy settings to prevent any content leaks. Additional features were also integrated, such as free partial access to certain modules, the creation of promotional coupons, learning gamification, and personalized training to ensure the client has complete control over their site.
Results
Professional, fast, responsive, and scalable online training site. Thanks to a clear structure and a user interface inspired by the best market standards, the platform now offers a high-quality learning experience, both on desktop and mobile. The client benefits from complete autonomy to add new courses, track payments, and interact with their students. The technical foundation in place also allows for a future expansion of the project to a mobile application.
In short, the site allowed Dr. David to move from an outsourced training model (via Udemy) to a proprietary platform, controlled from start to finish, showcasing his expertise and strengthening his digital presence.
